Programme Overview

About this Programme

Every boardroom in the Gulf now has an energy conversation sitting in it, whether the company admits it or not. This MBA joins that conversation with credentials behind it: the standard Rushford management core first, then a specialisation running through energy economics, sustainability strategy, renewables, efficiency, and the newer language of smart cities. Climate science gets taught through cases, not slogans, which matters more than it sounds.

Courses run about three weeks each and sit in the evenings, so a full-time job survives the degree. The assessments copy real decisions: a carbon budget here, an efficiency plan there, a policy brief when the module calls for it. And the capstone takes one live problem from the energy or environment space. Students who bring their employer's problem in tend to finish with something they can present at work, which is a better souvenir than a certificate alone.

The diploma carries the Swiss school's name, and the specialisation is the part that opens doors in energy. Both come in the same envelope.

Why Choose

Why Choose This Programme?

01

Your salary has no idea you are doing an MBA

Evenings and three-week courses. The paycheque keeps landing while the specialisation builds, and that is the whole point of the format.

02

The region wrote itself a 2050 target

The UAE committed AED 600 billion to clean energy and wants 50,000 green jobs by 2030. Someone has to run those projects, and it will be the trained ones.

03

Cases over slogans

Anthropogenic climate change, sea-level and precipitation impacts, studied through global cases. Then a capstone on a problem that actually exists somewhere.

04

The award is complete

90 ECTS across 27 courses, capstone included, with Rushford Business School, Switzerland, printed on the certificate.

05

Instalments in dirhams

Monthly AED payments, no interest, lined up with payday rather than fighting it.

06

Named support, real people

A success coach who knows your name, and advisors in Sharjah reachable on WhatsApp when you have ten minutes. Not an hour. Ten minutes is usually what you have.

An internationally recognised pathway awarded by Rushford Business School .

Why GCC Students Choose This Programme

01

Study it from where you already live

No visa, no relocation, no career break. The Gulf is where this degree gets used, so studying from it is the point.

02

AED 600 billion committed

The UAE's net-zero plan directs AED 600 billion into clean and renewable energy through 2050. That is a hiring pipeline, not a slogan.

03

50,000 green jobs by 2030

The national energy strategy sets that target, and targets need specialists with formal training behind them.

04

Employers keep reporting the gap

Employers across the GCC keep reporting that they cannot find the skills they need. Sustainability sits near the top of the shortage list.

05

From Barakah to Masdar

The UAE keeps building reference projects, from the Barakah nuclear plant on the grid to Masdar City's living lab, and every one of them needs managers.

06

Taught the way the region spends

Energy economics, renewables, and climate policy, matched to where Gulf capital is actually flowing rather than to a textbook's assumptions.

07

Honest take

if your interest in sustainability is purely compliance-driven, a shorter ESG certificate may do the job. This MBA is for people who want the specialisation to shape their next decade, rather than a single policy document.
