Cheaper than a first year abroad
Covering the same ground as a university foundation year without the relocation costs appeals to families comparing total outlay.
The largest of Qualifi's Level 3 business awards: twelve subjects, 120 credits and 1,200 hours of total qualification time. It combines the business and the management syllabuses into one programme, and Qualifi names year one of a UK university as a route out of it.
Note: Duration will be based on your experience and it can be advanced bachelors too which differs from prospects to prospects
The word integrated is doing real work in this title. Qualifi runs two separate 60-credit awards at Level 3, one covering business and one covering management, and this programme brings both syllabuses together under a single certificate, adding Thinking Entrepreneurially on top. The result is twelve subjects and 120 credits, double the size of either award taken alone.
Scale changes what the qualification can be used for. Qualifi publishes a total qualification time of 1,200 hours here, one of the few figures of its kind it gives at this level, and lists progression as a Level 4 qualification or year one of a UK university. That second route is the significant one, and it is stated more plainly for this award than for most of its siblings.
Content runs from the external picture down to the practical. The business half covers the operating environment, resources, marketing, human resources, communication, and workplace health and safety. The management half adds operations, finance, leadership, culture and welfare. The entrepreneurial subject closes it out by asking what you would do with all of it.
120 credits against the 60 carried by Qualifi's standalone business and management diplomas at this level.
1,200 hours of total qualification time is published, which most Level 3 Qualifi awards do not provide.
Qualifi lists Year 1 of a UK university among the progression routes, which is the strongest published route in its Level 3 business range.
You cover the business subjects and the management subjects together rather than choosing between them or paying for both.
Thinking Entrepreneurially is the subject that neither standalone award carries, and it closes the programme.

Q
Covering the same ground as a university foundation year without the relocation costs appeals to families comparing total outlay.
Qualifi lists international availability, so the award can be earned regionally and then used to apply to UK institutions.
Learners who would otherwise take both standalone Level 3 diplomas get the combined content under a single qualification.
Business formation rates across the Gulf have climbed, and Thinking Entrepreneurially sits in the programme rather than outside it.
The published 1,200-hour figure helps when you are fitting study around employment or around a family commitment.
The Year 1 route is Qualifi's published progression statement, not an offer. Ask your target universities what they will accept before you start.

Because it covers both of them. Qualifi's standalone business diploma and its introduction to management diploma are 60 credits each with no overlapping subjects. This award carries the content of both plus Thinking Entrepreneurially, in one 120-credit certificate. If you want the full picture rather than either half, or if you are aiming at a university route, the integrated version is the one built for that.
Qualifi publishes Year 1 of a UK university as a progression route, and that is a meaningful statement from a regulated awarding body. It is not a guarantee of admission. Universities set their own entry criteria and judge each applicant, and some will want additional evidence such as English language scores. Approach your shortlist of universities directly, tell them the qualification number, and get their answer in writing before enrolling.
Total qualification time is an estimate of everything a typical learner puts in: taught sessions, independent study, preparation and assessment combined. It is not a timetable and not a fixed term. How those hours spread out is decided by the centre and by you. It is useful mainly as a measure of scale, and it tells you this award is a serious commitment rather than a short course.
The qualification page lists twelve subjects without separating them into mandatory and optional groups, which suggests the full set is taken. Elsewhere in the Level 3 range Qualifi does separate a required core from an optional group. If the distinction matters to your planning, ask your centre to confirm against the Centre Specification rather than relying on the summary page.
No. Qualifi is an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation. It writes the qualification, sets and monitors standards, and issues certificates. The teaching, assessment and all the practical arrangements belong to an approved centre. Price, start dates and study format are therefore centre decisions, and Qualifi publishes none of them.
It sits two levels lower. Level 3 is comparable to A Level standard and is positioned as preparation for higher education, whereas Qualifi's Level 5 extended diplomas sit within higher education and are aimed at people who already have some grounding. This award is the starting point, not the shortcut.
