For people with an idea and no formal grounding to build it on. Three compulsory subjects on innovation, business English and entrepreneurial thinking, then two chosen from planning, marketing and finance. Sixty credits, awarded by Qualifi under Ofqual regulation.

Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Four compulsory subjects on care, communication, public health and person-centred practice, then an option covering diabetes, stroke or dementia. Sixty credits and 600 hours, awarded by Qualifi under Ofqual regulation. It is a knowledge qualification, not a licence to practise.

Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management
The most accessible qualification in this catalogue. Qualifi calls it an open entry award, with English at around IELTS 5.5 the only published guidance. Four subjects introduce tourism, hospitality, marketing and customer service across 120 credits.

The tightest qualification in Qualifi's Level 3 range: three subjects covering transaction records, cost and management information, and the maintenance of financial records. Sixty credits, aimed at building the foundation for accountancy work or for further study.

The only Qualifi Level 5 award that publishes a total qualification time: 2,400 notional hours against 240 credits. Eleven subjects move from study skills and reflective practice through to policy, quality management and a research project.
