Programme Overview

About this Programme

Read the eight unit titles together and the logic shows itself. Corporate strategy. Corporate finance and financial strategy. Human resource practice, leadership and managing people. Global trade and its impact on strategy. Research, problem solving and business reporting. Operations, quality and supply chain management. Strategic marketing. Project management. That is not a scattered list — it is a map of what lands on a senior desk.

Qualifi is unusually direct about who it has in mind: people seeking middle and executive level roles in medium or large corporations. Note the word seeking. This is written for the climb rather than the arrival, for the manager who runs one function well and now needs a working grasp of the other seven before the next job becomes plausible.

Breadth is the design, not a compromise. Nothing here goes as deep as a specialist award in finance or marketing would, and nothing is meant to. The qualification is accredited at Level 7, carries 120 credits, and its number on the framework is 601/7656/8 — an early registration, which makes it one of the longest-standing awards in Qualifi's range.

Why Choose

Why Choose This Programme?

01

One unit per executive responsibility

Strategy, finance, people, trade, research, operations, marketing and projects — the eight areas a senior role touches.

02

Written for the climb

Qualifi names its audience as people seeking middle and executive roles, not those already holding them.

03

Trade is treated seriously

Global trade and its impact on strategy is a unit in its own right, not a paragraph inside something else.

04

Reporting as a studied skill

Research, problem solving and business reporting covers how findings get presented upwards, which is most of the job.

05

Operations and supply chain included

Quality and supply chain sit alongside strategy, so the delivery end is not left out.

06

A long-established award

The 601-series qualification number marks an early registration on the framework.

An internationally recognised pathway awarded by Qualifi.

Why Gulf Professionals Look at an Executive Route

01

Breadth matters in a lean structure

Regional firms often expect a senior manager to cover several functions at once rather than one deeply.

02

Trade is the regional reality

Import, export and cross-border supply define business across the GCC, and one whole unit addresses it.

03

Aimed at the next step up

The qualification is written for people moving into executive roles, which is exactly where many regional careers stall.

04

Operations knowledge travels

Supply chain and quality content applies equally in logistics, manufacturing and retail across the Gulf.

05

Studied outside the UK

Qualifi states the award is available in the UK and internationally through approved centres.

06

Centres set the price

Qualifi publishes no fee. Compare written quotations from approved centres in your country.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this for people who are already executives?

Qualifi words it as aimed at those seeking middle and executive level roles in medium or large corporations, so the honest answer is that it is written for the approach rather than the arrival. If you already sit on an executive committee, much of the breadth may be familiar. If you run one department competently and keep getting passed over because you cannot speak to finance or supply chain, the eight-unit spread is the point of it.

Are all eight units compulsory?

The page lists eight and marks none as optional, so treat all eight as required. What is missing is the credit value of each one, which Qualifi does not publish, so we cannot tell you whether corporate strategy carries more weight than project management or whether the 120 credits divide evenly. The centre specification holds that detail and your approved centre can walk you through it.

What exactly does the master's route mean?

Qualifi publishes a single onward option: a dissertation to complete a master's degree at a UK university. It states this flatly, with no "subject to approval" and no university named, so the warning has to be ours. This diploma is not a master's degree and does not award one. Whether any university admits you, how much of your study it credits and what dissertation it sets are decisions that institution makes on its own terms. Open those conversations with the universities themselves, and open them early.

Why is employment not listed as an outcome?

Because Qualifi does not list it on this particular page. Sister awards at this level usually add employment in an associated profession alongside one or two others; this page offers only the master's dissertation. We are reporting what is published rather than filling the gap. It does not mean the qualification is unsuitable for work — it means Qualifi has not made a claim about it, and neither will we.

How does it differ from the Business Strategy award at Level 7?

Structure, mainly. The Business Strategy award gives you six mandatory units plus a specialism route you choose, and admits through an interview. This one fixes all eight units with no choice at all, and admits on a Level 6 qualification or first degree. Pick this if you want deliberate breadth across every executive function; pick the other if you want to go deeper in one named area.

No age limit, no IELTS requirement?

None published, correct. Two bullets make up the entire entry section here: a Level 6 qualification, or a first degree. Several sister awards at Level 7 add a minimum age, an IELTS 6 requirement and two references, but this page is silent on all of it, and silence is not permission to copy across another award's rules. Centres can apply their own checks, so confirm with yours before you apply.
