Programme Overview

About this Programme

The business of sport has grown up faster than its management bench. Leagues, federations, venues, and sport-adjacent brands now need executives who can handle commercial strategy, event operations, and governance in the same week. This Executive MBA trains exactly that profile. The executive core covers strategy, finance, human capital, and operations, then the coursework turns each toward the sports industry: commercial models, event and venue management, the governance questions federations live with, and the marketing machinery that fills seats and screens.

Cohorts are small and senior, drawing from federations, clubs, venues, agencies, and sports marketing, which gives the case discussions a rare property: everyone in the room has a season on the line. The degree closes with a graduate research project on a live industry question.

The certificate is awarded by Girne American University, North Cyprus. The fixtures keep coming; the difference is you now run them with a business case in hand.

Why Choose

Why Choose This Programme?

01

Sport as an industry, taught at executive altitude

Commercial models, governance, operations. The subjects that decide whether sporting ambition turns into a sustainable business.

02

A cohort from the industry itself

Small, senior, mixed across federations, clubs, venues, and agencies. The network you study with is the network you transact with afterwards.

03

Eighteen months at the outside

Sport calendars do not pause for study. Twelve to eighteen months, executive-scheduled, is the version that survives the season.

04

The research project can join the board pack

Point the final investigation at your own organisation's commercial or operational question, and finish with a document your board can read.

05

Instalments in dirhams

Monthly AED payments, interest-free, agreed in writing before the programme starts.

06

Support on Gulf time

Sharjah-based advisors in person or on WhatsApp, and a success coach for the whole degree.

An internationally recognised pathway awarded by Girne American University .

Why GCC Students Choose This Programme

01

Study inside a region that bought into sport

Fully online, no visa, no career break. Gulf governments and funds now treat sport as strategy, and the executive bench behind it is being built right now.

02

The events economy gives sport a stage

Dubai welcomed 19.59 million international visitors in 2025 with occupancy above 80%, and a large share of that calendar runs on sport, exhibitions, and entertainment.

03

Leagues and franchises keep arriving

Regional leagues, international fixtures, and franchise formats keep expanding across the Gulf, and every one of them needs commercial and operational leadership.

04

The skills gap reaches the front office too

Across the Gulf, employers keep reporting shortages of qualified candidates, and sport organisations report the shortage most in business roles rather than coaching ones.

05

Eighteen months suits the season

The delivery bends around fixtures and event windows instead of asking you to choose between them.

06

The research project can join your board pack

Finish on a live question from your own federation, club, or venue and graduate with a document your leadership has already seen.
